Prairie

Art batts are blended fiber used for spinning into yarn or felting depending on fiber content. Each batt is planned out, and then hand cranked by me on my drum carder.
This batt, which is inspired by the prairie I grew up around as a child, is made from a variety of different wools as well as some soft, luxurious silk, wool locks and tencel with a touch of sparkle. It is appropriate for spinning or felting.
